2nd Place, [AG]WPJA Q1 2008, Creative Portrait Category
Judge’s Comments: A composite image is tough when dealing with one person but add a second and you’ve quite a challenge. The photographer had a great concept and really pulled it off! This image would be even stronger if cropped from the top and bottom to a strong horizontal. Way to go!
7th Place [AG]WPJA Q1 2008, Creative Portrait Category
Judge’s Comments: Cool composite portrait for a very hip looking couple! Good Photoshop and the smart use of a clean background helps to bring this image together.
16th Place [AG]WPJA Q1 2008, Creative Portrait Category
Judge’s Comments: Romantic and enchanting best describes this image. A little crop off the left, losing the torch would alleviate the competition between the torch and couple.

This is the Winning Photo for WPJA Q1, 1st Place in Getting Ready Category
JUDGES COMMENTS: I enjoy the layering of this image. It provides you with all the info you need at once. Perfectly aligned the way the bride’s eye meets the edge of the church. Beautiful.
What a beautiful moment. You can just feel the excitement of this bride as she arrives for her wedding. The image combines key elements and is well composed. This isn’t always the easiest type of image to pull off, but some planning and a little bit of luck can combine to make a winner.
